So I would learn it and then - poor Alan, my long-suffering husband - I would say “okay, this is what I’m explaining tomorrow” and I would say the technical words and he’d be like blink, blink, blink. Like a stockier version of Jack O’Neill; so cute. And then I would say “okay, but this is what it means” and I would explain it in layman’s terms and he would go “oh okay cool, yeah.” And then I’d go back to the technical and he’d be like blink, blink, blink. But that’s how I learned it. ”
Aww I’ve had a pair of those =D My mother got them from a friend in Gothenburg, and she brought them home with her on the train, in an empty ice cream box with air holes in the lid. She’s told that there was a kid nex to her who looked at her funnily when the ducklings made tjipp tjipp noices :)
